Avatar clouds on newest second life version

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download newest second life client
2. Run devobot, login to second life separately
3. avatars show up as clouds

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP sp2, SL 1.2.5, ironpython 2.6

Please provide any additional information below.

I think they changed their spec around a month ago, but this may have been
fixed by now in the main libomv library.

Tried with newest libomv libraries (downloaded self installer and zip version on
windows and newest svn code on linux), and code still does not work, crashing a
little after login.

Libomv list members tell me some calls for refreshing avatars are now no longer
needed, but it could be that the library has changed so much in the past months 
that
it just doesn't work any longer with the files you have put up there.
