What pain point is this feature intended to address? Please describe.
Table view has fixed cell sizes, so if the cell contains more text than will fit into a single cell, it would be useful to have a way to display it.

In the short term, it would probably suffice to have some sort of mouseover feature that displays the cell contents in help-text.
