When switching between stations, the playback will start at maximum volume for about a half second, then drop back down to the correct level. The issue seems to be with switching to a new station after having listened to another station. If you exit the app completely, restart it, pick a station, and hit play, it seems to start correctly. But any station you pick after that will blast out sound first. The workaround seems to be to exit completely and restart before picking a new station, but that's not very helpful if you're channel surfing. The app works ok otherwise.
