Bed mesh seemingly not applied #42

Open Vlek opened 1 year ago

I try applying a bed mesh, doing the bl touch z offset, and the normal z offset. I am still having issues where my first few layers are different from the left and right sides of the bed. The left side is too high. So much so that, without the z offset, it is not sticking to the bed. The right side is getting smooshed too much and causing print quality issues.

Having the same issues as these people:

Going to attempt to resolve with #41

Maybe #8 would also correct for this?

I believe this is due to z screw backlash.

This would normally be a software fix, but the maintainer of klipper is not interested in adding support: https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/issues/1166#issuecomment-458608061
