I think making one group of voices per language is enough.
Although I can see how having multiple groups per language could be useful for languages with dialects (e. g. Spanish), I think moving between accents is an extremely rare case (would be happy to be proven wrong)
I'm working on comprehension and recently switched voices. I was surprised by how many words I didn't understand with the new voice. I plan to rotate the voices on my cards. Doing that automatically would be awesome.
randomizing voices will do a lot to break up the monotony when reviewing. suggested by @mrderiuzz
