This is intentional. Using any uppercase letter in a search will turn the search case-sensitive.
It would be helpful if a click that caused a filter to be applied generated a filter that is case insensitive. For example, if I right click MercWMouth, it should apply -user:mercwmouth. This is primarily a problem if multiple filters are desired, such as "-user:MercWMouth boypussy". A user would expect to only see files that contain the word boypussy, except for the files with boypussy that MercWMouth uploaded, but because MercWMouth was the generated filter, all files with BoyPussy, BOYPUSSY, and BOYpussy in the title are filtered out.
Lower case search queries matches both upper and lower case. Upper case, however, only matches upper case.
For file: "Calculus" Searching: "calculus" is successful. Searching: "Calculus" is successful. Searching: "CA" is not successful.
