Particle accelerators and Thermometers #47

Hi, so i was attempting to create a particle accelerator in creative single player and i followed a guide from the old atomic science mod and it does not seem to be working so i was wondering if they currently do not work or if i just built it wrong. Also when making a fission reactor the thermometer does not work so i cannot make and automatically regulated reactor while using highly enriched fuel rods. If anyone knows if these things do work or not and could let me know that would be great :).

Used the wrench to change the temp settings on the Thermometer but it does not go any lower than 2500c which is BOOM for Fission reactors. Instead used the insertable control rod to 65% and four regular control rods on sticky pistons, rednet cable and lever to turn the reactor on and off.
