yes please could you sign the plugin? thanks in advance
yes, please could you do that?:)
The current version 1.0.11 available on the Grafana Plugins site appears to be signed by Grafana Labs and loads in Grafana v8.0.5 just fine for me.
Interesting... the most recent release on the project page is 1.0.10 Sept 2020 .. even more curious ... there is no tag for version 1.0.11 ... where did the version uploaded and signed by Grafana come from?
Indeed there is no entry for 1.0.11
in the grafana's plugins list repository https://github.com/grafana/grafana-plugin-repository/blob/master/repo.json
I was just reviewing that file myself... the mystery deepens...
@tomer-amir-vonage / @YehonatanVonage Thoughts?
I put in https://github.com/grafana/grafana-plugin-repository/issues/1037 --- not sure if it will help, but couldn't hurt, right?
I'll try to clarify the mystery a bit :)
As you know by know, Grafana 8.0 requires all plugins to be signed. While many plugin authors had already submitted signed versions by then, many plugins are no longer maintained. We decided to sign all remaining plugins before we released 8.0. Rather than modifying the latest version and republishing it, we instead to bump the patch version instead (hence the "Signed by Grafana Labs"). We figured that would have the least impact for the end users.
Don't worry about the version not being present in repo.json. We're working on deprecating that repository anyways. In fact, we're rolling out a new plugin submission process over the next few weeks. We haven't made the announcement yet, but you can find it under My Account on grafana.com (you didn't hear it from me 😇 ).
Please submit your plugin to be signed by the grafana team so we can all use it w/ Grafana v.8
