When checking for extruder binding on page 117, the picture shows the filament latch closed. But when I tested this with the latch closed (no filament), I got lots of binding and the Bondtech gears were actually producing metal shavings inside. My guess is that the Bondtech gears are not designed to run without a filament and the gear teeth were too close together to the point it was rounding them over. Without the filament latch engaged, there was no binding in the drive gear. I ended up installing as is and extruder ran fine during first print.
I could be wrong on this. If not, please add a note that the filament latch should be unlatched and/or test with a filament in the Bondtech gear. Also, update the extruder picture to reinforce the latch should be open or what not.
