Voron0.2r1 - [a]_MiniSB_Cowling_x1 HE Fan face only 2 layers (0.4) #296

Closed ningpj closed 1 year ago

The front of the cowling around the HE fan appears to only be 2 layers thick (0.4)? Seems too thin and wonder if this is an oversight/mistake? In the previous release the front was 4 layers thick (0.8).

Layer 3 - New 0.2r1 on left, 0.2 on the right. Issue also with multi-part cowl version

the current STL's in the repo are 3 layers thick. looks like you downloaded the files before the PR was fully merged, this has been fixed

no, i only downloaded the repo 12hrs ago from the default r1 branch. just grabbed a fresh copy and the files are showing as PR #291 which doesn't mention the fix and both cowls still only appear to only have 2 layers in the published STL's. Reexported from cad and its only 2 layers as well.

Thanks, all good now...slightly thicker first layer so must have been on the margin since its still thinner than the 0.8 in 0.2

I think there is a discrepancy between the CAD in the ~V0.2 Master Assembly RC2.zip~ V0.2R1 Master Assembly v62.step.zip and the [a]_MiniSB_Cowling_x1.STL in the repository.

I downloaded the stl, and pulled the cowl from the source .step file, and they are different.

I loaded both into SS, and split at 0.6mm. As you can see below, the stl version's fan face is lower. (Green highlight is pulled from the Master Assembly file)

MiniSB differences

V0.2 Master Assembly RC2.zip this is not the cad file that appears in the github....

Copied the wrong filename.

Reverified that I was using this file: V0.2R1 Master Assembly v62.step.zip
