After the question coming up a couple times on Discord, I would like to humbly suggest that a label indicating the proper clip and correct thickness foam be added to pages 254, 256, 257, 259, and 261.
The rear and top panels (pgs 254 and 261) should indicate 1mm thick foam, corner_panel_clip_4mm, and midspan_panel_clip_4mm
The side panels (pgs 256, 257, and 259) should indicate 3mm thick foam tape, corner_panel_clip_6mm, and midspan_panel_clip_6mm
