Open access is very much needed for developing country researchers students and also to all. Many libraries budgets are shrinking and they are not able to acquire all resources so Open Access will greatly helpful to these students and significantly improve the quality of education available to millions of people in the process. So there is need to spread open access movement to all developing countries, as I am from Asian country I am interested to study development of Open Access in Asian Country. My project will be following objectives, I have just started this project but I need inputs from all Asian Country peoples who involve in OA development i) To know present status of Open Access in Asian Countries ii) To identify and discuss various open access resources iii) To explore the open access policy of every Asian country
iv) To study growth of open access journals in Asian Country v) To study growth of Open Access Repositories in Asian Countries vi) To find out impact and barriers for promoting of Open Access in Asian country vii) To suggest ideal policy for branding OA in aisa
