Messed up plot when hiding x-axis #645

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a plot of 30 objects with a datestamp (Ymd) as the x axis
2. Do not show the x-axis
3. set the graph width to something high (600 or 1000)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The plots should fill the available space on the graph, instead all the plots
are crammed into the left part of the graph and the last point shoots off into
the distance.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version O/S Not applicable, tested in Firefox and IE9

Please provide any additional information below.

Are you sure you don't have a data point way off to the right??? It sure looks
like it!

Maybe you can provide us with the data set you used to get the example
screenshot you gave?
