Based on GTD https://hamberg.no/gtd/
So. in this example. I had an issue with how to find back a subject on workspace
Next step, is this base of workflow could be use on other plateform? Thomas, we'll need a map of all plateforme Vulca is using and what are their specific use.
@AlexandreRousselet
All good for me.
yes and no. Yes, because I believe github is the right place to store finished job. No, I don't want to force github if it's counterproductive for some people. (yet 😀 ) Question is: how to use workplace in the same way? during the work in progress. Then when it's done, I can help to collect the result for github. Why and when do you prefer to start a post in work group, or to start a new group discussion? Could we see the workplace like that?
Workplace | Github | Slack | |
---|---|---|---|
idea | group chat | nope | nope |
team | workgroup | Repository | ? |
tasks | post | issues | channel |
storage | nope | wiki or markdown files | nope |
I think also, it's a subject linked to the language book.
So,
we can store unlimited files in github, but it's not the best place for pictures and video. We must find a storage for these and link them from here

@nicolasdb :For Storage you can use NextCloud. (But not sure for the link system)
naaa, for now, we don't have a lot to store, it's more about tutorials, tasks, templates, etc... A nice wiki here or going for a gh-pages based on md. files to publish these will suffice.
@Starius-Project why NextCloud is better than Google Drive ? (we have a GSuite for non profit).
@nicolasdb about a sum up of a meeting (my meeting with the minister de l'agriculture). Where is the place to do that in our new internal communication strategy?
Remind all, this is what we have (Internal communication & Working tools) :
@AlexandreRousselet I forgot that ! Google Drive is better (Nextcloud is only for Private Cloud )
@nicolasdb about a sum up of a meeting (my meeting with the minister de l'agriculture). Where is the place to do that in our new internal communication strategy?
If it's public knowledge. You should start with an issue specific for this subject. Write your sum up, add pictures if you want and we can discuss there the next steps.
(if not, start a doc on teamDrive. Later, we'll ask for noprofit github account for private repo)
Usually, I like to start in issue because you benefit of the formatting tools on top of the frame. Super easier also, for adding pictures, screencaps, whatever.
For more understanding of what is markdown. It take 10min for this tutorial. https://www.markdowntutorial.com/
I publish a post in workplace because I wanted to announce and share this small tuto. Goal: maybe kind of a teaser of a github feature and then link to the tutorial I made. It shouldn't start a lot of comments about that. Ha! and I choose this group to post because I't's about features of a "tool", It make sens, right?
(to be edited when resolved)
context
