The vulnerability timeline may benefit from supporting disjoint breaks in the timeline for large gaps in activity, this would allows the timeline to be condensed if it has to fit in smaller spaces (such as mobile). An algorithm would need to be developed to figure out where the breaks should appear, if at all. Some additional research may be useful to determine if this would, in fact, reduce viz. width
