Code blocks don't show / have no styling

After adjusting the colour scheme, the code blocks were left without styling or with styling that is no different from the background:

Extra things to consider in mean time:

• Limit code block width on desktop somewhat
• Make code blocks inline and responsive to the width to a certain extent
• Set apart the copy button more
