It is not clearly specified in the issue how trailing whitespaces being allowed might be problematic to users' usage or experience of the application. If it does not affect usage, the extra flexibility of of allowing trailing whitespaces does not pose a problem for users. Perhaps giving a specific example of how confusion or wrong input might arise as a result would help. Until an actual consequence of this issue is flagged, this issue is perceived as being purely cosmetic and thus having a severity of Very Low. We also changed the bug type to Documentation Bug because not specifying this technicality in the UG is a documentation issue and it has not been shown to affect the app's function in any way.
