source_id registration of FGOALS-g3 #427

@yongqiangyu the entries above look very similar and in some cases are identical to the ACCESS1-0 example registration. Are you sure that the aerosol, atmos, land and seaIce information is correctly noted above?

Yes, I just filled out the information of ocean model, and I will finalized it very soon.

@yongqiangyu are the details above now correct? If yes, I can then process the registration. As this is a new model when contrasted to CMIP5, so I assume the release_year should be 2017 or similar (and not the 2005 above)

@yongqiangyu @jjqq the registrations have been processed, please take a look at the details presented at CMIP6_source_id.html and let me know of any further corrections

@yongqiangyu we noted a formatting inconsistency with the atmos and land nominal_resolution values for FGOALS-g3, and have now corrected this. Please check your complete model registration details in CMIP6_source_id.html and get back to me with any further tweaks required.

For reference, this issue was caught and resolved in WCRP-CMIP/CMIP6_CVs#466

@yongqiangyu if FGOALS-g3 is the model that will be used for PMIP4, you should ask @durack1 to add PMIP to the activity participation field.

You may want to update this field for all FGOALS versions, to specify which ones will be used for which projects. You can check the activity id column in https://rawgit.com/WCRP-CMIP/CMIP6_CVs/master/src/CMIP6_experiment_id.html for help

I am going to add some activity_id for three models from CAS, and they are FGOALS-F3-H, FGOALS-F3-L, and FGOALS-g3, respectively. So could you like to tell me how to modify them at your earliest convenience please?

@yongqiangyu so all that is required is an update to include PMIP in the activity_participation field? And this will be for the 3 registered source_id entries: FGOALS-f3-H, FGOALS-f3-L, and FGOALS-g3 - is this correct?

@durack1 PMIPshould be added only to FGOALS-g3!

But I think that @yongqiangyu is going to send you a list of the other MIPs for each model (based I guess on the same CMIP6_activity_id.json list you recommended for Gavin)

Here is full list of activity_id for different versions of FGOALS.

FGOLAS-f3-H : HighResMip

FGOLAS-f3-L: CMIP、GMMIP、OMIP、DCPP、SIMIP、ScenarioMIP

FGOALS-g3: CMIP, GMMIP, OMIP, DCPP， SIMIP， ScenarioMIP， PMIP， DAMIP， FAMIP，LS3MIP， CORDEX

@yongqiangyu @jjqq the updates have been processed. I note that CMIP is a compulsory activity_id for all models to contribute DECK simulations, so I added that for FGOALS-f3-H. I also corrected your FGOALS-g3 FAMIP entry to FAFMIP, please correct if I am wrong here. Take a look at the details presented at CMIP6_source_id.html and let me know of any further corrections
