@jesusff is this ok for you? i could not find CLMcom-KIT as an institution id in the current simulation status

@evchur is the CLMcom-Hereon-KIT related?

@larsbuntemeyer, I clarified this question from Hendrik Feldmann and he said "there is no make sense in such name" and it should be CLMcom-KIT. Also, Hendrik told to me that we have already used this institution_id for some NUKLEUS runs.

Moreover, I think soon you will get another issue from Hereon people for registration CLMcom-Hereon.

Hi, the name CLMcom-Hereon-KIT came from the google doc where the CORDEX SAT were originally collecting the status of the simulations. In fact, there were both CLMcom-Hereon-KIT and CLMcom-KIT-Hereon. Can this be related to some simulation split between KIT and Hereon (IfK)? Hereon run the evaluation and KIT the scenarios? In any case, please, clarify which simulations are planned or completed by CLMcom-KIT, so we can fix the simulation status here. Note that a source_id for the CCLM version used will also need to be registered in an independent issue.

@jesusff, I would like to make a registration of our institute for the UDAG project. We are going to produce the historical and scenarios simulations based on 12 km and 3 km resolutions using ICON-CLM model. In particular, the KIT is responsible for downscaling MIROC6 data.

Also, I would like to clarify that we have other people in UDAG project, who are responsible for registration of ICON-CLM model and getting source_id.

Hi, the CLMcom-Hereon-KIT must be something Ronny did, probably in the NUKLEUS project. I didn't know that he registered it. HEREON and KIT are different institutions - though collaborating. In CMIP5, we alreay had CLMcom-KIT. KIT intends to publish CORDEX CMIP6 simulations from COSMO-CLM and ICON-CLM under this ID. HEREON will have their own ID (if it not already has one).

We will discuss with UDAG and the CLM-Community the exact name for the source ID for the standard CCLM and ICON-CLM version used in CORDEX CMIP6. Then probably Christian Steger or me will register it here.

Perfect. No problem. To me, this looks good.

When the names to be used for CCLM and ICON are clear (there's some debate at the moment regarding the nudging WCRP-CORDEX/discuss#12 ) you can just add CLMcom-KIT to those source_ids.

I'll open a different issue in https://github.com/WCRP-CORDEX/simulation-status to clarify the runs that must remain in the CORDEX simulation list and who did which simulations within NUKLEUS.
