CiTO articles double counted and the number of venues exegarated #2390

Describe the bug Currently, when an "article with CITO annotation" is assigned to a venue (journal, preprint server) and a proceedings (e.g. proceedings can be published in journals) then they are currently double counted in the below histogram and this plot also shows more venues than we really are interested in:

To Reproduce

  1. Go to https://scholia.toolforge.org/cito/
  2. Scroll down to 'Number of articles with CiTO-annotated citations by year'
  3. Notice three (at the time of writing) proceedings showing up (see above screenshot)

Expected behavior The current behavior is as the query was written, but I like to see the proceedings excluded.
