The Center for Learning Analytics and Student Success at Indiana University is hosting their second Learning Analytics Summit this April. I attended their first such summit last year and found it to be a particularly valuable opportunity to connect with faculty and staff from institutions across the country. Regrettably, I will be presenting at another conference during this year's summit and thus unable to attend. However, I think could be a great opportunity for anyone in our group interested in connecting their own work with the broader learning analytics community. I have included the details on the Summit below (and while the Summit itself is free, the TLC's Faculty Development Fund might be available to help offset travel costs).

The Center for Learning Analytics and Student Success invites you to attend the 2nd annual Learning Analytics Summit from April 3-5 here at IU. This years' theme is Engaging Faculty in the Research of Student Success.
This three-day summit will encourage you to engage with learning analytics in new and innovative ways. Attendees will be empowered to engage in research that increases student success through attending working sessions, discussing the uses of big data, continuing discussions on the ethics of and advancing the future of learning analytics. There will be multiple opportunities to showcase your contributions to the field, including short paper presentations, lightning round presentations and a poster showcase.
Registration is free but space is limited, so register now! Also, poster and presentation proposals are due March 1, so act now.
