Datasets menu overflows the page when there are many datasets #298

... and the columns are too wide when any of the datasets has a long description

This is making it impossible to select some datasets from the menu, and as the number of datasets grows, the problem gets worse.

@joefutrelle - PR created with an adjustment for this one. It should take care of the situations mentioned.
