In order to help facilitate consensus this explainer is being split into 3 parts: a data model, rendering spec and metrics spec. The readme is update to reflect these changes.
The data model spec re-imagines the API, leaning heavily on CSS to provide future-proof text formatting options to users.
The rendering and metrics specs are little more than templates at the moment but will be refined later.
