Expand authentication methods #37

This PR expands on #18. I'll mark it as WIP for now as it is quite early and not well integrated. However, it would be nice to gather feedback on these alternative authentication methods. Potential points of discussion:

Do we deem this valuable to improve user experience?
Does it open additional security concerns?
Does this belong here or is the OSP spec better suited to cover this?
