Is this effort to also include management APIs, i.e. doctype management? Along the same lines, does this include crypto provider selection and management (SEE, USB Device, etc.)

Hi Tony, can you clarify your questions a bit?

Trying to answer the question, https://github.com/WICG/mobile-document-request-api does allow to request different doctypes and it lists examples for both org.iso.18013.5.1.mDL and org.micov.1 document types.
