Pendrives: some supported (USB 2.0) and some not supported (USB 3.0)?! #164

Closed Zibri closed 5 years ago

Zibri commented 5 years ago

If I put some pendrives, some are correctly recognized by webusb api.. This an SMI based pendrive example. image

If I insert a "SanDisk Ultra Fit" pendrive, it does not show up in the authorization(pairing) request. I tried many different ones. Another working example: image And another: image

But with the "SanDisk Ultra Fit" there is no way. Same laptop, same OS (Linux) and same usb(3) port. One difference though: the "SanDisk Ultra Fit" is USB 3.0 while the others were all USB 2

Please fix this. P.S. The SanDisk Ultra Fit pendrive has these IDs: idVendor=0781, idProduct=5583, bcdDevice= 1.00
