Feature/fix free cmd #290

This PR aims to fix issue #289. It enables users to upload files on Windows OS/Cygwin Env, which does not support the free command.

Seems like an OS specific bug. As our system runs primarily on Linux system, Linux combatibility should take priority. If @mengyewgau is ok with that I will close this PR
