Lock screen all periods pulses the lock overlay and message #1002

Description

In W5 CM, when you choose lock screen "all periods" option, the student will see the screen pulse with the lock screen (gray overlay and "your teacher has paused all screens in the class" message). The number of pulses seems to depend on the number of periods in the run (3 periods in run = 3 pulses). After pulsing several times, the lock screen will stay displayed.

Operating System: Mac OSX 10.12.6

Browser: Chrome 61.0.3163.100

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In Window 1, open CM for a run. Make sure the run has more than 1 period.
  2. In Window 2, open student VLE for the run.
  3. Pause all periods.

Expected behavior: In Window 2, the pause screen should appear.

Actual behavior: In Window 2, the pause screen pulses several times (same as number of periods in the run) before appearing for good.
