Hi @Shelob9,

Great start, and good information. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. This addition will make the docs a lot more complete. I think we need a stronger disclaimer around disabling the endpoints. I would also reverse the order and put requiring authentication before the documentation regarding removing core endpoints.

Also we will want to put this somewhere in the REST API handbook on .org.
