I'm opposed to this, actually; it seems like an unnecessary check. I don't really see the point in this--why would people browse to nonexistant pages, anyhow? No need to slow down loading time.

I love navigating to nonexistent pages... wait... what? It wouldn't matter if they did navigate there, there is nothing to review.
