Homepage Single layout has an aside within the main element?

• The Single Post homepage layout has an <aside> in it that contains the button to swap between the "top" and "recent Stories" layouts https://github.com/INN/largo/blob/trunk/homepages/zones/zones.php#L6-L20
• that aside is within <div id="content" class="stories span12 HomepageSingle" role="main"> https://github.com/INN/largo/blob/c41d8519370b48a6e53ce36b3b516d3e54e39d66/homepages/templates/full-width-image.php#L9-L11
• WCAG doesn't like having asides or elements with the complementary landmark role within the main role.

Questions:

• [ ] should we keep that toggle? Does anyone actually use it?
• [ ] does it make sense to keep role="main" around on homepages? Should we remove it from the homepage and put it elsewhere on article pages?
• [ ] should we change this from an aside to some other form of element?
