It might be interesting to include a section about boat simulation, so teams can get started writing control system logic before having a fully functioning boat.

https://github.com/boatd/tracksail-ai - modified sailing game (with not particularly realistic physics, the original is somewhere on sourceforge)

Any others that are easily reusable?
