After rooted, can I just install magisk manager and install magisk ?

Uninstall WSA and reinstall it using this: deleted

Edit: Do not use the dirty Magisk installation method

Will the choice of the type of gapps ( Pico etc ) affect subsequent passing of safetynet ? My question is if I don't have root, don't have magisk, will WSA with gapps pass safetynet ?
