Most popular map applications where the map cannot be rotated do not include these features, so they are not necessary here.
Microsoft Streets and Trips is an obsolete piece of software that has been discontinued. :ghost: Why would we make our application work less like Google Maps or Bing Maps and more like this one?

Participants asked for both a compass to indicate which direction was north on the map as well as arrows at the edges of the map field. The arrows would be both a prompt that more map information was available by panning (similar to Microsoft Streets) and functionally allowing users to move around the map by clicking the arrows (in addition to clicking and dragging the mouse).
