Wondering if there will be a search feature in the “other” section of HATS. Sometimes difficult to find the work order number in one of the categories when you think it should be in a certain one.

John thank you for your feedback! Ask and sometimes you shall receive. The search feature is in the new version of HATS scheduled for release on November 14th. Here’s what it looks like.

Pete: He is asking for work order search from the Other Record screen. 4.0 does not currently include that. It simply searches the titles of the types to help you find one quickly.

Reason I didn't do work order number search is it would be searching something that is not visible for that screen. Activities are chosen once you pick the type.

Compromise. I'll change it so it searches either the feature type title OR work order number of any activities under that type. Not any activity name. So you can type 1339 and it will select Catch Basin in the list. But you can't just type Inspection to get all types with inspections. I think using words and having the list show names that don't match what you typed would be confusing. But I'll settle for the work order number.
