2 years ago No pop-up is preferred, just emails. More definition needed on are we being reactive to theft or just want to make sure cabinet doors get closed.
Signal Maintenance reports multiple, repeated cabinets being broken into & vandalized. Sometimes its to plug in the extension cord and sometimes its to steal the copper cable. The cabinets all have the door sensor switch installed. We need to set up a system to alarm the operators when a cabinet door is open.
Proposed idea is to use contact closure devices controlled by NG_Contact as door monitoring devices. Create a new 2 letter device code to differentiate these. Pop-ups in NG_TMS and email notification via NG_Delivery are desired.
