Scope of paper #9

Thanks for all the related work and comments. I think it's time to discuss the scope of the paper again. While we agreed last year on a structure, it makes sense to review it and plan maybe for a smaller scope dependent on current publications, which cover topics. We maybe plan for a series of papers instead of trying to get it all integrated in one paper.

What do you think?

BTW - only in case you thought I'm not pushing the paper (again;-) since the deadline for reviews of related work was 30 September. I still have to scale down my work for a bit. I caught pneumonia and try to avoid the hospital... So any discussions are more than appreciated but I may be still slow in answering for a while - I'm optimistic and hope that I'm back to fully working in a week.

Sandra et al sorry, I have been AWOL! Been a litte distracted with my new job :-) I like the idea of descoping it to focused aspects. Last time we had too generic of an agenda and never quite got it done.

Agreed. The problem with being too ambitious is that it never happens.
