Huh, it's working for me even though I have the new advanced voice mode! 🤔

Can you specify the version of app??
Working fine for me too, seems to have even adopted the cloudy voice circle
@richaardvark What you are experiencing is the new 'advanced voice model' being started by voicegpt. it is part of chatgpt since a few weeks (months in the us). there's lots of discussions about the downgrade in comparison to the old model (e.g. no internet access, constant interruptions, bad listening quality, etc.) but there is only one way to revert back to old voice model as of now: start a new chat with chatgpt manually. write something which needs internet access (e.g. whats the weather gonna be tomorrow, read the news, etc.). then click on the voice button and voila the old model will start. sadly, seems that no other possibility to start the old model is around.
for example see: https://community.openai.com/t/new-chatgpt-advanced-voice-feels-like-a-downgrade/959348 https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1fr4948/the_new_advanced_voice_mode_cant_look_up_real/ and so on...
but voicegpt could be possibly updated to let users chose which voice model (new/old) to use @WSTxda ?
Hello,
OpenAI released an updated version of the ChatGPT app within the last day or so with a redesigned conversation mode which has effectively broken the functionality of this VoiceGPT app/plugin.
Launching VoiceGPT will still initiate a new session of conversation mode in ChatGPT however some of the features such as being able to tap and interrupt are no longer supported despite the textual prompts stating otherwise. Personally I don't like the new version of conversation mode that OpenAI released in the latest version of the ChatGPT Android app as it is even more buggy than the previous version was (on my device anyway) and interrupts itself and cuts me off all the time but I suppose we have no control over this.
Anyway, it seems an update is needed.
Thanks!
