Irrigation Grandfathered Rights IGFRs There are ~22,000 groundwater rights in AZ with POU layer. More info https://new.azwater.gov/news/articles/2019-04-01 Note that the annual allotment of each right. is the permitted volume.

We need to add a unique type for these GW water rights that make them different than the rest of GW rights in AZ.

Disclaimer to add to the methods

_A Grandfathered Water Right(GFR) grants the authority to a landowner or lessee of the land within an Active Management Area(AMA) to withdraw groundwater from a non-exempt well(> 35 gallons per minute) for an irrigation or non-irrigation use, depending on the type of GFR, as described in the Arizona Groundwater Management Code.

This GFR Web Map is an interactive map intended for use by owners of irrigation grandfathered rights, owners of Type 1 non - irrigation GFRs, irrigation district managers, as well as buyers and sellers of land within an AMA, amongst others.This map shows the boundaries of all active GFRs & the type of each GFR(irrigation, Type 1 non-irrigation, exempt small rights, etc.), as well as GFRs that have been extinguished and/or developed.Please note that Type 2 non-irrigation grandfathered rights are not included in this map, as they are not restricted to use on a specific piece of land. The purpose of this interactive web map is to:

Provide a way to determine if a parcel of land has a grandfathered right appurtenant to it. Provide a tool that can be used to locate and view the details of a Grandfathered Water Right. Features:

Search feature with multiple search options: Search for a specific GFR by entering the water right number(58-xxxxxx.xxxx or 60-xxxxxx.xxxx) Enter an address, parcel number, or owner name to see if there are any associated GFRs Various layers that can be made visible or invisible depending on preference, including: Subbasin boundaries Irrigation district & water provider boundaries Access public records for each GFR directly from the map with the click of a button; View annual reports, a copy of the grandfathered right certificate, and any correspondence on file available to the public Print or save your current view of the map with a title, legend, scale.
