He still streams and uploads on youtube, I'm beginning to think that the modpack was too big of a task for him to undertake and he's forsaken it...

I hope not, It's a great pack, I have it up on my server and just put the it 0.8.1. My players really enjoy all his hard work. Although I wish the old version of magical crops was in there, that's about the only thing that threw me off. Perhaps if he knew how much people really appreciate this pack maybe someone would help him with it and get it out of beta. Thanks for the update and reply. -LionMaiden Lions Den Gamers

Tbh I miss the older version with HQM... the quests were actually well thought out, but I don't think he considered adding in the potion variants for that one quest that messed it up, next thing we knew he removes HQM which kinda makes it into a generic "just do whatever no one cares" type modpack... which while fun at first is kinda boring since there's no pre-set goal of any kind... I'm sure there were other things with it, but that's my only real gripe, the rest was fairly well worked out, now there's nothing to the pack...

Even with out HQM my players find it enjoyable. Most are older and pretty much like to play and learn at their own pace so it's all good for my server. I think I want to disable the meteors as they are pretty much destroying the some of the natural spawns in the game, not to mention the town I was building lol other then that, it's still one of the best Magic packs out there.

Oh don't get me wrong it is good without HQM, but it was nice to have something you could do as a goal right from the get go instead of just doing random stuff, it's part of why I love HQM, I've actually found quite a few packs that either have HQM and don't have anything in the book at all(like they just have it in the pack but never bothered to use it for whatever reason) or have it and do wonderful things with it, including minor tutorials for the mods to get you going in case you don't know what you're doing or they're using mods that people don't normally use. The quests he made were actually fairly easy going quests, just a few minor issues like i said with the potion one...
