The QE response depends on the wavelength being detected- therefore you would need to link QE to emitted wavelength. With CCD models more often than sCMOS you may have some sensor variants and options to account for also. Linked to QE and not mentioned is the role of the Camera window – these also have a range in response depending on the wavelength. For visible range work it is usually fairly consistent but once off middle of the visible and if you are doing anything towards UV or NIR you may choose another window and you can change the effective QE of the camera quite a lot by this.
Element name(s): Detector
Field name(s): QuantumEfficiency
Justification for the addition (brief and compelling): Often the QE of a detector changes depending on WL range. Therefore having a single QE is not meaningful.
Full description of the proposed addition (enough detail to implement): QE should be associated with the WL module
