Got everything up and running. Logged in with admin ok but when I hit the video dropdown icon there is nothing there to upload a video. Just Encode video and audio and Embed a videolink.

Did everything here: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/wiki/How-to-install-LAMP,-FFMPEG-and-Git-on-a-fresh-Ubuntu-18.x-for-AVideo-Platform-version-4.x-or-newer

and then here: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo-Encoder/wiki/How-to-install-LAMP,--FFMPEG-and-Git-on-a-fresh-Ubuntu-18.x---For-AVideo-Encoder

No errors on anything. Then if I click on Encode video and audio it brings me to https://encoder2.avideo.com/ and I get a Sorry! This stream site is not allowed. Assuming that has to do with nothing being installed locally? Little confused.

You need to change the encoder on your configuration setting ( as admin ) image

then type your encoder address

Thank you for the help! I still don't see that Upload option in the dropdown in the main console: http://mysite/YouPHPTube/

I can choose Enccode video or directly log into my encoder url\console and upload fine and it shows up under my videos section http://mysite/YouPHPTube-Encoder/

In Advanced configuration I put in that address as the Encoder URL saved, and restarted. Any other suggestions, clearly I missed something?

I don't know what are your expectations . 1) Clear the cache if when you press '' encode '' video does not send you to http://mysite/YouPHPTube-Encoder/ 2) Once you there select the video that you wanna encode , and start uploading it ( the script will do the rest )

You should explain more your problem ( if there's any )

Thanks, my expectations we're obv that dropdown to upload being available or did they remove that? I have to click Encode and upload from a the /encoder url instead. Looking at all the tutorials and they all upload from the main admin dashboard directly.

You still can do that if the uploaded video is supported by html 5 Go to your plugin , CustomizeAdvanced (CustomizeAdvanced) , and unselect the type of import that you want . image

If you want direct upload , then you don't need an encoder .
