Backup of AVideo-Storage video folder #13

Hello

Is there a preferred way of backing up the videos in an AVideo-Storage server?

Should I use the "Backup" plugin? I'm not sure if it is able to backup the files in an external Storage server

Hi

The storage you basically need to backup the videos directory.

The "Backup" plugin does not help with Storage. Basically you need to copy the Streamer and Storage videos directory and also the Streamer database. with those you can recover the site anytime.

@DanielnetoDotCom does the rsync works with AVide-Storage ? In my case my streamer site is empty , all videos are hosted on my AVideo-Storages

Probably rsync works, but you still need the Streamer videos folder for the dummy files, configuration files and images
