Simultaneous live feeds #645

How many simultaneous live feeds is this system able to support at a time. Looking for a system to broadcast live sporting events.

It depends on your hardware, your bandwidth, and the amount of transmission you will make. It is not possible for us to tell you a number, but we can estimate that with a VPS with 2 CPU cores, you can transmit to a few hundred users.

enable cache plugin will greatly help in performance

I understand the hardware used greatly affects it. I was just wondering what the software was able to handle. Does YouPHPtube just use its own streaming engine or is it able to use a second source engine liek Wowza?

For now it only uses NGINX RTMP module as live stream
