Like maybe a default Maintenance page could be served or something when this attack happens?
maybe if you share the logs at the moment this happens I can see where this error comes from.
I do not see any errors when this happens other than what I physically see with how the page loads. I know it is only under 100% cpu load when it happens
Are you running DDOS protection at your router?
In multiple places but yes
I seen it happen again today but I did not see anything in the error log about it. I think it is just either apache or mysql not connection on time when the page loads
but was any error dump on your screen?

FYI, I checked your server and it is running pretty well on my side.
It is only when the attack gets through. It is rare when it happens.
It happens if you turn off your mysql server @DanielnetoDotCom That is the only way to replicate this
