Cannot play videos on iPhone #8667

Describe the bug My site is up and working fine when viewing it through my computer, but when trying to view it on the mobile phone (using Edge or Safari) the play button comes up but then disappears after a second so I can't press play. If I manage to click it quickly enough before it disappears it still doesn't play.

At first, I thought it might be because I selected a Player Skin that might not be compatible, so I turned it off but it's still the same. I then tried selecting to "view the desktop site" on the mobile and that seems to let the play button load but still nothing is playing when I press play.

It's the same if i'm on WiFi or Cellular.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Try to play any video on Edge or Safari (could be others, only two I've tested) on iOS

Expected behavior Video should play

Additional context One of the errors mentioned cache and on the front page menu I have options to clear the first page cache or whole cache directory. But I have the cache plugin disabled. I'm not sure if this is relevant but I have cleared it anyway.

Just to add to this... I just added a video that I downloaded through the YouTube downloader option in the Encoder. This plays fine through the iPhone.

The difference is the previous videos that don't work on iOS were all uploaded using the Direct Upload option. They are MP4's that I ripped with my own YouTube Downloader in a Docker Container so I'm not sure why this wouldn't work on iOS still but will on the PC. They are all still coming from the same source and MP4s.

Okay I've turned off direct uploads to be sure it can't happen.
