[Plugin AD_Server] External video URL in AD #9477

@DanielnetoDotCom Danny, I'm doing some tests with the AD_Server Plugin. And I noticed that I can only add a video if it is listed in the system.

I didn't find this to work, because the AD video mixes with other non-AD content. My suggestion is to store these AD videos in another list. Have you thought about this?

I would like to use external video links. How can I do this?

Hi, sorry I am not sure what is the issue and what you are suggesting, can you please detail it more?

Danny, in this question, what intrigued me most was why the advertising video needs to be in the same list as the other videos on the platform.

I think that the videos that will be used on the AD Server should be separated from the rest of the other videos. In order to keep the list of videos more organized.

If you want you can install another AVideo just to serve ads, and you can use the VAST URL from the AD_Server to feed the GoogleAds_IMA plugin
