User feedback : Upon logging in, the first tab I see is currently the "EVENTS" tab. Not intuitive as to whether I have successfully "joined" the group.
Suggeston : Perhaps when the user first logs in, the first tab they see would be the "FRIENDS" tab.
They would be able to see their own name as well as the names of other people.
Since having a sense of community is one of the main goals of the platform, seeing this would allow the user to intuitively know that they have successfully joined the "group" and that there are other people in it.
