Looks like https://github.com/manic-code/Emerging-Malicious-Domain-Blocklist/blob/main/domains-abp-pihole.txt is still in testing at the moment (which is all good!) so I'll keep this open and check back on it 🙂
@manic-code Just revisiting this one again, and still notice the same warning: https://github.com/manic-code/Emerging-Malicious-Domain-Blocklist/blob/6366f412ee2e1f427db9ff24522c6f2beb646dec/hosts.txt#L7 https://github.com/manic-code/Emerging-Malicious-Domain-Blocklist/blob/6366f412ee2e1f427db9ff24522c6f2beb646dec/domains-abp-pihole.txt#L6
Do you believe hosts.txt
is worth adding at this time, and changing over when the time comes?
I would recommend so, both the standard hosts list and the ABPlus formatted one will be kept in sync together. I am ditching the plan to maintain one over the other as not everyone uses Pi-Hole and as such won't have any use for a non domain blocklist. I apologize it's taken me a while to get back to the daily commit schedule I had going, I'll resume doing so shortly.
Hello,
I've created a new block list focusing on phishing and malicious domains. This is not a repackaged list from another source, all domains included are derived from various threat intel feeds with a heavy emphasis on domains registered within 30 days. I already use all the blocklists present on Firebog which ensures any new websites I add are unique and unknown. I hope you can examine it and possibly include it among the other blocklists so others can benefit. Thank you.
