Render error in gargoyle 2009-08-25 in Linux

Hi,

I have compiled and tried the lastest version of gargoyle in linux with an
spanish adventure:

http://www.caad.es/retrocomp/participantes/kerulen.zip

When I run it (the .blb file with a .ini file) in ubuntu 9.04 the fonts are
messy:

(The first part of the image is an image file, not a font)

I have noted it in caad forums (spanish if community) and someone post a
screenshot of the same adventure in windows vista:

Had to recompress the archive for some reason.

I can't seem to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 9.04.  I fixed some (possibly 
related)
bugs in the way that the garglk.ini config file is parsed, though none of them 
should
result in the display artifacts you saw.
